"Sandy's Place is the best self-catering accommodation in Barrydale! The facilities are clean and spacious, with an amazing stoep with built-in braai, green lawn and a well-kept swimming pool. Every convenience is thought of by the host...we had coffee, tea, sugar and milk awaiting us, ice in the freezer, insecticide for mosquitoes (if needed), swimming towels, wood & matches & firefighters for the braai, dstv, and much more. The host welcomed us with open arms and even upgraded us (for free) to a bigger unit! I can highly recommend Sandy's place to all travelers, the accommodation is in a league of its own! "

"So many to mention. The room was a lot bigger and nicer than expected. It had a generous size bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower. It also had an equipped kitchen and dining table. And there was a POOL. This was in an established garden with lovely trees. We also loved the COMFORT of the property. I also have to add, on the morning of departing our car wouldn’t start. Sterna was a godsend. She organised everything for us even the use of her husband’s car to pop into the town. "
